Mehndi which is also known as heena , is art in which body especially hands and feets are painted with different designs and patterns with heena. Not only this, mehndi is also used to colour nails and hairs. Mehndi is made by crushing the leaves of heena plant ( botanical name, lawsonia inermis) , when this mehndi is applied to skin and removed after several hours , it marks the skin with beautiful designs which fade naturally after some days.
